The redevelopment of the historic building (1870) in Via Foscolo 1 concerned the entire building, with the exception of commercial space on the ground floor, and provided significant intervention to restore the building to a consistent value with its localization in the center of Milan. The whole building is intended for offices.
The objectives of the project were:
• the general redevelopment of the building with the enhancement of the interior spaces and in particular of the roof with the creation of a new glass pavilion facing the Duomo;
• the realization of a new glass and representation reception;
• the creation of a flexible vertical connection system that allows multi-tenant rentals;
• the modernization of the building from the point of view of fire prevention and accessibility in relation to the new intended use;
• the creation of a new system for the new offices.
